No real survivor, but a partially restored
1966 Ford Mustang Convertible in Silver Blue Metallic.
The beauty was built in San Jose CA. That's where we discovered it 52 years later. The body is, as far as we can tell rust free, the dry, salt-free climate of California has obviously been a great bonus.
It is powered by a 289 CUI / 4.7 liter C-code V8 with 200 hp, paired to a C4 automatic transmission,
The complete suspension is new, Every single bushing, every piece of rubber, tie rods and so on have been replaced. While we were at it, the old thick undercoat was removed and the underlying solid bare metal was exposed, then we applied Owatrol and special protection wax. That way you can easily see what you get. The exhaust system is new
and kept in the popular GT look incl. trumpets through then rear valance.
To complete the GT Style, GT-fog lights. disc brakes
(front), a brake booster
as well as the beautiful pony-interiorwas
added.
From a new carpet to the new, electrically controlled top, the car is super honest. New white-wall tires are on there as well..
The beauty has TÜV and historical vehicle approval. We love taking it for a ride out in the evening sun. Come join us!
